"Black-Eyes Susans #1"

This is the first of three paintings I did of the Black-eyed Susans growing in my yard. The flowers bask in bright sunlight as the greenery swirls in a wind-swept frenzy...with the background of an old wooden trellis. I captured the drama in late August, but the flowers kept their bloom until well into the fall.
