1. “I love that printmaking is done by hand; it's a very physical process, rolling, wiping ink on plates and cranking them through the press. There is something very exciting about pulling a first proof of an image, processing the plate and seeing the image on a beautiful piece of paper as I lift it off the plate.

Photopolymer gravure prints are produced by exposing a positive image onto a UV light sensitive plate. Once the plate is developed, a print may be taken directly with conventional etching techniques using ink and an etching press.”
