As I paint wildflowers, I’m struck by their resilience. These delicate blooms often thrive in the harshest conditions. I aim to capture that quiet strength in my work, using color and form to evoke their enduring beauty.  I like to keep it fresh, put the color down, and not define it too much. I want them to breathe with the inspiration that first caught my eye. As a painter, I'm wanting to keep it fresh.
