These drawings started out as a series of color studies, filling up page after page in many pocket sketch books. Over time, I realized the sketches re- flected our thinking processes. We all gain knowledge (Sapience) through our five senses – sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell - individually or in combination. Our mind not only perceives sense impressions but suggests appropriate action to deal with them(Endeavor). Our minds are continually tasked with organizing experiencesand assigning them resolutions.
My ink and pastel pencil drawings attempt to capture visually those thought processes and manifesting actions.
