This is a scene from a rustic little fishing village called Faro, located in the Algarve Region of Southern Portugal. Recently my Portuguese family and I celebrated the holidays there. I took a walk at sunset, and was drawn to this colorful scene of laundry on the line. I hope viewers can appreciate my Impressionistic paint strokes depicted of warm light, weathered textures of the wall, and the limestone tiles of the sidewalk.
