“Gathering” was inspired and created in solidarity and respect for peaceful protests of unity and collective voices heard around the world. It celebrates Democracy, freedom and peace, humanitarian equality and protection of individual rights for the future. Millions have joined together in large cities and small towns across the United States to begin again & again in our tumultuous and divided country which still continues globally. In a kaleidoscope of color, interwoven with black and white and everything in between, we unite and embrace the right of freedom of speech and assembly for change. Our voices and persistence have become increasingly greater in a battle cry for awareness and transition for good. Hope and optimism abounds for a future with strong leadership, linked arms with our brothers and sisters, and finally moving forward while building a stronger bridge to reform and healing for all.
