“Watching the moon in it’s extraordinary rhythms and presence never ceases to inspire wonderment and awe every time it rises, rests, suspended, in the evening air. Lunar Lace was inspired by an incredible rising full moon, her aura peaking through the contours of the branches in the quiet of the trees. My astonishment in it’s energy and magic, particularly this night, resulted in a quick gesture sketch on black linen paper standing in the dark chill, unforgettable. The sketch developed into the original painting on canvas and now a limited edition Giclée, a favorite.
