This is an original, one of a kind oil painting. I wanted to convey the motion of a biker as she was flying by me on Church Street. I was intrigued by the concept, so I blurred some of the edges of her body to convey her movement. Behind the figure is a mural painted by Jeff Zimmermann. I love painting murals in context because I'm attracted to how they look in perspective and when sharp angles of light break over them. This painting is about light, color, and movement.
