My inspiration for this piece stemmed from the renewal that spring brings. Everything grows into something beautiful after a long, hard winter. A winter that felt painful and never ending, something beautiful can still bloom. This painting has a lot of emotions in it, and a lot of ups and downs. It was one that I came back to many times, adding of touch ups, trying new colors, and just letting the creative process flow.
