The kit comes along with access to step-by-step video tutorials that will teach you the sewing basics.  No prior sewing experience is needed and this doll can be sewn either by hand or using a sewing machine.  

The Activist Jr. sewing kit includes everything you need to create one doll measuring approximately 10" long.  You will just need to add a good pair of scissors that can cut through fabric, an iron and a computer or tablet with internet access to watch video tutorials.
