The Vital Season (Still Time Series)

A young figure in red is suspended in mid-leap, surrounded by the deep hues of Smoketree and Stag Horn Sumac. the painting looks at the moment when vitality reaches its height--bright, restless and already beginning to turn. Part of the Still Time Series, it reflects on aging, the illusions of endurance, and what it means to meet ourselves in the passage of time.
