"Three Against The Sky"

You can almost feel the breeze on your cheek! This piece was inspired by a trio of roses, struggling to stand upright on a windy day at the Chicago Botanical Garden. I snapped a photo and ran to the studio to capture all the motion of the day and the strength of these brave flowers. (Sometimes we need to celebrate those times when we're happy to still be standing at the end of the day!) Durable acrylic paint on 40" x 30" canvas.
