"Vases By The Window"

The noonday sun came streaming through the kitchen window, spotlighting the flowers and their little glass containers. I knew I had to capture the glowing yellows and oranges, set off by the crystalline blues and raging scarlets. This piece is durable acrylic paint on a 24" x 18" canvas. I'm delighted with the strong yellow flower, the cool blue glass vases, and the interplay between fuzzy patches of color and an occasional sharp outline.
