The artist began with a moment of overwhelming inspiration from a field of winter pansies- took some to her studio and painted with dye directly onto luxurious silk velvet to bring the single moment to life on silk and ultimately on the dynamic human form to complete this single reflection on one single original!
At 54” by 8” it offers bold vibrant tactile soft lush color as well as practical breathable insulation without bulk.

The experience of the artist with garment design and construction allows her to fuse the form with years of experience in the fiber and painting field that pushes the limits of ordinary silk dye or print methods.
