Medium: oil painting on canvas paper

This oil painting was created from a sketch I drew in Giverny, France. During an early morning walk, I captured the scene in my sketchbook and later painted it on canvas paper to revisit the memory held in my heart. In this image, the lilies appear to open up to greet me, as if smiling and saying, “Good morning.”
