“Winter Path – Impressionist” Crystal Knit Pointillism part of the “Winter Path” Fine Art Landscapes Collection (2023/2024)

"Winter Path - Impressionist" is the inaugural mixed media landscape piece created by Marsha Peterson-Maass in the art type she developed called Crystal Knit Pointillism, which utilizes crystals and colored yarn to form her knit picture, much like how a painter uses dots of paint to create a traditional pointillism painting. She works exclusively in the Crystal Knit Pointillism medium.

"Winter Path - Impressionist" is also the first of eight Crystal Knit Pointillism landscapes created in the “Winter Path” Fine Art Landscapes Collection (2023/2024). Focusing on Impressionism, the "Winter Path - Impressionist" is Marsha's immediate impression of a moment at Evanston’s Lovelace Park in Winter 2023 emphasizing a three-dimensional display with light filtered thru the genuine crystals giving it depth and a unique play of color. It is Marsha's representation of today’s natural beauty where she lives in Evanston.

As a point of reference beyond this single piece, the other seven landscapes in the “Winter Path” Fine Art Landscapes Collection (2023/2024) depict the same scene in the styles of Pop Art, Blue Period, Graphic Novel, Minimalist, Modern, Post-Impressionist and Cubist (each of which will be sold separately).
