This bowl will keep your ball of yarn where it belongs.. next to you.  Put your ball of yarn in the middle of the bowl, pull the starting piece through the mouth and then you are all set to start your project. (Ball of yarn not included).  Your yarn bowl friend will keep away menacing cats and keep your ball of yarn from taking unfortunate tumbles on to the ground. 
The yarn bowl is mostly brown with hints of blue throughout and a cute red tongue.  It measures about 3.5 inches tall and about 6 inches wide.
